Been making teas with these. Good stuff. No mf pesticides either. Seriously folks.. spend the extra money for organic now so you don’t spend 1000’s later on medicine because of the progressive toxic load of Glyphosate on your body slowly degrading cells/mitochondria and negative impacting your physical/mental capacity.

I eat these mostly because they are good for you. These are so much better than the ones I used to buy. I paid a fair price by buying a huge amount. I store them in 3 quart size jars.

I tried Goji berries from another source years ago and found them effectively inedible. They were too dry and bitter. These are COMPLETELY different! They are pretty dry, but still chewy (imagine eating that last extra-dried-out raisin at the bottom of the box). The flavor is tangy, fruity and rich — with a lingering hint of molasses like a raisin — without being too sweet. One word of warning: for me they have a pleasantly mild stimulant effect, about the same as drinking a cup of green tea. So I make sure to eat them earlier in the day to avoid interference with my sleep.

Ever wonder why the people of China , despite living daily with air that you can light on fire , the pollutions that bad seem to outlive us ? That their elderly take care of their grandchildren full time , spending the day in the park playing with them . Well, I did ! So I asked one. The answer was simple – daily consumption of green and Puer tea along with Goji berries …
While I certainly don’t want their lives , overall , I now eat and drink like an Asian and don’t concern myself with being a fatty or getting fat as I once did .
Get your GOJI ! This is a good company with great people dedicated to health and well being.

Perfect addition for my smoothies everyday. I add 2 T and it adds a nice little sweetness and chewiness. I wouldn’t eat these by themselves though, very strong taste.

Good value and quality goji berries esp. considering how expensive they have become. I have a MA in Oriental Medicine. Decades back, while in school, they were much more affordable. Goji berries can be on the dry side, or in some cases, the berries clump together in the package. Not a big deal as they are best used either added to a tea/hot water, or added to food to rehydrate. My husband and I add about 1/4c to our morning porridge, whether having a more sweet or more savory porridge blend. They have a slightly tart, slightly sweet flavor, with notes of butterscotch. Goji berries are good for nourishing liver blood and yin, esp. said to be helpful for improving eyes, and night blindness. These little red gems are also high in antioxidants. Great mixed w/ reg. or golden raisins. I add a teaspoon or so to my morning hot bev. w/ powdered ashwaganda, ground flax seeds, hot water, and a bit of coconut milk along w/ a little honey. Love it. Sometimes I also add triphala, which is sour, and hence the honey or other sweetener helps it taste better. I let the berries sit in the drink, and chew them at the end of drinking my tea beverage, once softened. We also add to the porridge ~ usually oats + barley, but other varieties as well.
I’ve tried other brands, and find this brand to be very consistent quality, color, and flavor. Hope this helps.

I’ve eaten gojis for breakfast for many years. I’ve always bought Navitas. But their cacao nib quality became terrible and their goji berries were out of stock for my subscription delivery. So I turned to my new favorite supplier of fresh, organic food. I bought a 5 lb bag. It was very cost effective and the berries are very large, sweet, and tasty. For what it is worth, I soak them overnight to reconstitute them. The flavor is better. You can also just plant these berries and grow your own. But they don’t get enough sun and heat where I live near the coast.

Food to Live seems to be producing excellent products. So far I have been using their Cashews and Goji Berries. I have tried a number of different brands of Goji Berries and some were quite expensive. These Goji Berries are as good as any I have tried, but very well priced. I don’t know why there are some bad reviews in the past. Perhaps they had a bad batch, but the bad reviews could also be false reviews by competitors. Fakespot gives the company an "A" rating. For those who have complained that the berries are too dry I have to say that unless they are dry they risk molding. To get around this I have seen companies add sugar to the goji berries to make them softer, but that is a crime against all their health benefits. Goji Berries are naturally a little sticky so that they can clump together.
We use about 6 lbs of Goji berries a month in smoothies, deserts, and granola where I use sprouted buckwheat, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds as the primary ingredients. (We soak the seeds and then low head dehydrate them.) The Goji berries provide a little sweetness to the granola.
Goji berries have a unique taste and I suppose that some may not like them. I personally love goji berries, but I would suggest trying a small amount first, before purchasing a large amount. Goji berries have excellent heath benefits that you can look up on line.

I never had Goji Berries before and was pleasantly surprised to find how good they are. I use them as a snack and with tea — few barriers, a sip of unsweetened tea, …

These are very thoroughly dried, organic goji berries and yet they soften really fast in your mouth once you pop a few in your mouth and chew them. The flavor profile is so absolutely delicious because they have an almost crossover flavor of savory and sweet in the best way. I actually eat a handful at night to help me sleep and keep my blood sugar levels steady through the night which means I sleep deeper and wake up less cranky and ravenously hungry. In the world of foods as natural medicines, this one is right up there as one of the big ‘uns for me.
